Celebrating 80 Years of FAO: A journey through the decades in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert
Walk through 80 years of FAO’s history inside the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert!
From 8 to 27 October, a free photo exhibition shows how, together with our 197 Members, collective action and innovation have helped fight hunger, improve nutrition, and transform agrifood systems around the world.

A Visual Journey of Impact
The exhibition highlights FAO’s efforts to restore agricultural production after World War II, respond to food emergencies, and work towards more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agrifood systems, highlighting the role of innovation and digitalization in that respect.
In today’s world, where food security, biodiversity, and nutrition continue to face a multitude of challenges, FAO’s 80th anniversary is more than a milestone.
It is a moment to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine the future of our agrifood systems.
It is a reminder that the mission to end hunger and ensure healthy, affordable, and accessible diets for today and tomorrow remains as urgent and as inspiring as ever.
