Discovery Station: The role of camelids in securing better nutrition in harsh environments

The event, organized by the FAO Food and Nutrition Division (ESN), took place as part of the Discovery Stations of the World Food Forum Flagship Week. It aimed to introduce children aged 8-12 to the role that camelids play in supporting vulnerable communities living in harsh environments, with a focus on how these animals improve food security and nutrition. Students were engaged in an interactive presentation followed by a game on camelids and nutrition based on the lessons learned from the presentation.
