The experts were appointed by the Bureau of the CFS, following a call for nominations and a proposal by an ad hoc technical selection committee comprised of members of FAO, IFAD, WFP, CGIAR and CSIPM.

Drafting teams act on a project specific basis and are selected to analyse a specific issues.  Drafting Teams work in the preparation of the reports in close collaboration with the Steering Committee.
