New note: Harnessing AI, Digitalization and Data Governance for FSN

To inform the High-Level Forum on Harnessing Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization and Data Governance for Food Security and Nutrition, organized by the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), the HLPE-FSN has published a new background note examining how AI and digital technologies are being deployed across food systems, the opportunities they offer and the challenges they raise.

The note explores the current evidence on the impacts of AI, the importance of data governance, the conditions needed for its responsible adoption, and the policy questions that deserve greater attention as these technologies continue to evolve.
