Leaving no one behind in food security and nutrition governance:the inclusive process and policy tools of the Committee on World Food Security

15 July 2016, 1:15-2:30pm EST |Conference Room D (CB-1B-CRD), UN HQ, New York

A CFS Side Event jointly co-hosted by Bangladesh and Switzerland

The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) brings the voices of all those affected by food insecurity to the table so they can participate in developing science and evidence based policy instruments that can be used by everyone.  But what does this mean in practice and how does it work?

CFS stakeholders, including civil society and the private sector, will take a closer look at how the CFS inclusive process works and in particular at how the Voluntary Guidelines for the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forestry (VGGT) can contribute to the 2030 Agenda.

This interactive Side Event will be moderated by David Nabarro with a keynote from the CFS Chair, Amira Gornass.
