Dr Swaminathan's lifetime of dedication and groundbreaking contributions have left an indelible mark on the global effort to combat hunger and ensure food security for all.

As the first chairperson of the High Level Panel of Experts on Food Security and Nutrition (HLPE-FSN) from 2010 to 2013, Dr Swaminathan played an instrumental role in shaping the panel's mission and vision. His legacy serves as a reminder of the transformative power of visionary leadership and unwavering commitment.
