Guidance to hold multistakeholder consultations at national, regional and global levels is provided in the Terms of Reference to share experiences and good practices in applying CFS decisions and recommendations through organizing events at national, regional and global levels.

The event will also look into the potential application of CFS policy outcomes, especially for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and in the context of the UN Decade on Family Farming and the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition.

The next two GTEs will be held at CFS 47 in October 2020 on the Framework for Action for Food Security and Nutrition in Protracted Crisis (CFS-FFA) and at CFS 49 in October 2022 respectively on Principles for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems (RAI)
