Regional synthesis reports
In 2016, a series of informal regional consultations were held as part of the preparation of the report on The State of the World’s Biodiversity for Food and Agriculture.
The objective of the informal consultations was to discuss needs and priorities for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity for food and agriculture in the region. Regional synthesis reports were then prepared that consolidated the main findings, points of discussion of the workshops and recommendations of the country reports, and identified regional needs and priorities for action with respect to the management of biodiversity for food and agriculture.
