今天是2022年“国际森林日”，《全球生物经济中的森林产品：推动木材产品替代使用，助力实现可持续发展目标》报告在阿拉伯联合酋长国迪拜举办的2020年世界博览会上正式发布。该报告全面介绍了在使用森林产品时既可降低环境影响又可减少废弃物产生的木材相关创新成果。报告还为私营部门、政府、国际合作机构和科研人员提供了一揽子建议，促进替代在社会、经济和环境方面不具备可持续性的产品。

当前，不可再生资源占全球材料消费的比重为75%，而这些资源的获取、运输、加工和处理都给环境、气候和生物多样性带来极大影响。今天发布的报告显示，木材的碳储存功能可促进减缓气候变化，同时用木材产品替代混凝土、钢筋、塑料和合成纤维等材料，能够遏制或减少这些材料所导致的温室气体排放。
