狄娜目前担任RECOFTC委员。RECOFTC是一家专注于在东南亚开展社区林业培训和研究的国际组织。她同时也是茂物农业大学森林资源保护和生态旅游专业就读。

和世界各地很多学生一样，狄娜的学习受到了新冠疫情的影响，其中一个重要影响是作为林业课程重要组成部分的野外考察活动被取消了。没有正式的野外考察意味着无法观察动物，访问保护区的机会受限，这让狄娜陷入了困境。

然而，情况在2021年出现了转机。在成为国际森林学学生会当地委员会的主席后，狄娜加入了一个国际学生网络，并由此得知可以申请参加联合国粮农组织为期三周的线上课程—《巴黎协定》下的森林和透明度。
