大韩民国仁川/罗马 - 绿色气候基金董事会批准了6000万美元的资金项目，用于支持贝宁和冈比亚的气候变化抵御力项目，在两国脆弱的农村社区推广可持续做法。

联合国粮食及农业组织（粮农组织）将为这两个项目提供专业知识，以促进自然资源的可持续管理，并帮助受气候变化影响的民众改善生计。

作为一个独特的全球平台，绿色气候基金投资于低排放和气候变化抵御力项目，以帮助弱势社区适应气候变化影响。绿色气候基金与其全球伙伴共同推动气候投资，促进气候适应和减缓战略，力争实现《巴黎协定》目标。

粮农组织副总干事玛丽亚·海伦娜·塞梅多说：“粮农组织对项目获批表示欢迎，这可以加快贝宁和冈比亚的包容性气候行动。我们期待着与各方伙伴合作，在农业、林业和渔业部门推广绿色和具有气候变化抵御力的做法，以促进发展更高效、更有韧性且更可持续的农业粮食体系。”
