This partnership takes a coordinated approach to increasing the productivity, profitability and environmental sustainability of smallholder agriculture, leveraging Grow Asia’s network of farmers, the private sector, governments, NGOs and other key stakeholders. The partners will focus on strengthening the capacity of smallholder value chains and agribusinesses, supporting women’s economic empowerment, enabling greater participation of the private sector in policy dialogues, promoting responsible investments in food, agriculture and forestry, and contributing to the ASEAN Action Plan on Fall Armyworm Control.

The MoU between FAO and HELP Logistics (subsidiary of Kühne-Stiftung/Kuehne Foundation) provides a framework for collaboration in the area of humanitarian logistics. It focuses primarily on preparedness and logistics in emergency and protracted crises contexts, strengthening and promoting joint actions to assess food value chains, build FAO's capacity and optimize logistics procedures to reduce costs and increase resilience.

Identify gaps and bottlenecks in mainstreaming the use of biological control, be it regulatory, research, production or field use.
Enhance capacities and pilot other solutions that will facilitate greater adoption of biological control as a sustainable tool in crop protection.
Promote the use of biological control globally.

The partnership will strengthen impact of public-private collaboration in support of all three pillars of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental – with an important emphasis on both mitigating climate change and adapting and strengthening the resilience of agrifood systems and natural resources against the impacts of climate change. The partners will promote responsible investment and sustainable strategies for agrifood system transformation in light of national goals, needs and priorities, and facilitate private sector engagement through strategic partnerships in national programmes supported by the Hand-in-Hand (HIH) Initiative.
