Swiss startups, SMEs, large-scale industry, and academia are leaders in science, technology, and innovation, including in the agrifood sector. These actors are united under Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley (SFNV), a purpose-driven, nationwide, multistakeholder, not-for-profit association that strengthens and promotes food system innovation. FAO and SFNV aim to establish mechanisms for identifying, developing, refining, and scaling innovative solutions in the areas of nutrition and healthy diets, with the objective of contributing to the transformation of agrifood systems by addressing root causes and mitigating the consequences of challenges within these systems.
