22 August 2016, Vostochnyi Kyrgyzstan - Cunhuar Hiymamova with his children feeds a cow in his house in the village of Vostochnyi 80 km from Bishkek. Purposes of the FAO project are to improve livestock productivity through establishing district-based cattle producer associations for training and service delivery; access to better feeds, both quality forages and compound feeds; disseminating modern livestock farm husbandry and management practices, such as preventive health, milk sanitation; animal registration and identification and support modern milk marketing associations in order to organize milk producers.
