Bilateral meeting with the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia – H.E. Ljupcho Nikolovski

Rome - The FAO Director-General, QU Dongyu, and the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Ljupcho Nikolovski, met to discuss cooperation between FAO and North Macedonia.

The Minister congratulated the Director-General on the success of FAO reforms and praised the work FAO is doing in the country. He emphasized that the country is interested in attracting more international resources for developing agriculture, in particular to build climate resilience in agriculture.

The FAO Director-General ensured the Minister that the FAO Country Office, together with the Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia in Budapest, will provide all the necessary support.
