Bilateral meeting with the Minister for Agriculture and Food Security of Sierra Leone - The Honourable Henry Musa Kpaka

Rome – FAO Director-General QU Dongyu and The Honourable Henry Musa Kpaka, Minister for Agriculture and Food Security of the Republic of Sierra Leone, met on the margins of the UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment taking place at FAO Headquarters from 24 to 26 July 2023.

The Minister congratulated the Director-General for his re-election for a second term, and thanked him for the support provided during his first term. He shared with the Director-General the President's new initiative, Feed Salone where FAO has played a strategic role.

The Director-General thanked the Minister, and commended the Government for its leadership in driving agrifood systems transformation since the launch of the Food Systems Synthesis Report and National Pathway.
