  1. Problems and Constraints

    1. Please discuss the major problems and constrains affecting the development of feed resources in your country. In this regard, please describe innovative ways which have been successful in improving the livestock and feed industries in your country.

    2. Please describe successful and unsuccessful programmes and projects to develop the sector and cite reasons/factors why these have or have not succeeded in achieving the objectives.

    3. In the light of the above, please suggest ways or measures to further improve/develop the livestock and feed industries in your country and whether and how these can be adopted for other member countries.

  2. Policies

    1. Please describe the basic features of government policies affecting the development of the livestock and feed industries in your country, giving a general assessment of their effectiveness/impact on the sector as a whole.

    2. Please discuss the present state of as well as promising areas for research and extension in feedstuff production and utilization.

  3. Future Prospects

    1. Please discuss the medium/long term prospects of the livestock and feed industries in your country, indicating the kind of feeds and animals involved and considering the likely keen competition between concentrates/other feeds and food crops for direct human consumption.
