A computerized databank "Code of Reference Materials" (COMAR) is available containing approximately 10,000 reference materials from 20 countries. This database provides the following information: name and general description of the material, name and address of the producer, form of the material, the properties certified and their values and the field of application.
By means of a structured search of the database, sequentially indicating qualitative (e.g. components and matrix) and quantitative (concentration limits) criteria, a reference material suitable for a user's application may be found.
