Annually, farmers lose 15% of yield due to pests and diseases, for example this would equate to more than $300 million in South Africa alone. The rise of precision agriculture can not only reduce this loss and increase yields but also ensure that action is taken in a sustainable manner. How can modern technologies such as drones and satellite imagery be used to monitor plant pests and diseases? This webinar presents the usecase by Aerobotics in South Africa

Nasreen Patel
With a background in technology, strategy and customer experience, Nasreen is focused on expanding Aerobotic's product capability to solve key challenges for farmers globally. Nasreen joined from Uber, where she most recently headed the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Consumer, Product and Tools Insights team, responsible for aligning and improving the customer and product experience. Prior to that, Nasreen managed the Community Operations team for Sub-Saharan African (SSA), which included leading the customer engagement strategy and operations as well as launching the support operations for UberEATS. Before Uber, Nasreen spent time in management consulting, innovation management and governance at KPMG and STANLIB Wealth Management
