Cross commodity
FAO supports the Institut de Recherches Agronomiques et Forestières (IRAF) in Gabon and the Institut de la Recherche Agricole pour le Développement (IRAD) in Cameroon to document major agro-ecological zones and superimpose them on a geographical/ administrative map. Based on the available data, expert judgement and input from technicians and farmers, a country profile map is filled in. Finally the collected data are inserted in the IPNIS database. The data will soon to be available on www.fao.org/ag/agp/ipnis/
