Paths out of poverty - social cash transfers in Malawi

The Malawi Social Cash Transfer Scheme is providing cash transfers to more than 26,000 of the country's poorest households. This video follows the stories of beneficiaries in the Mchinji district, exploring the impact of cash transfers on their livelihoods. The From Protection to Production (PtoP) project is evaluating the impact of cash transfers on economic and social development of beneficiaries and their communities and providing policy guidance and advice on how to maximize benefits and create paths out of poverty for the poorest of the poor.
