Masters and doctoral students at Iowa State University
will be introduced to the ERP Flagship through a course developed by Professor David Acker. This course draws on the lessons learned at the FAO/UNESCO Seminar on Education for Rural Development in Asia (Bangkok, November 2002) and the Aid Agencies Workshop on Education for Rural People convened by FAO in Rome (December 2002).
The course also draws on a joint study on Education for Rural Development by FAO and UNESCO/IIEP.
