Mozambique-Education for Rural People workshop

Maputo, 26 April 2005.

The workshop was organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, (FAO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The workshop was attended by representatives from more than 20 non-governmental organizations.
Each NGOs filled a matrix about their projects on Education for Rural People to contribute to map ERP in Mozambique.

The workshop:

  • presented the FAO-UNESCO paper on Education for Rural People in Mozambique,
  • shared information on good practices in the field of Education for Rural People projects/activities in Mozambique,
  • expanded partnerships with civil society and set the basis for possible future collaborations.
