“A call to eradicate hunger by alliances against hunger” – was the topic of the opening statement given by Ms. Eva Clayton, FAO Assistant Director General during the International Seminar on “CITIZEN EDUATION AND SOCIAL MOBILIZTION TO ERATICATE HUNGER AND POVERTY IN THE WORLD”. The presentation introduced to the audience two FAO led partnerships initiatives: the International Alliance Against Hunger and the Education for Rural People partnership.
