Networking with France on education and training for rural people

On 8 February 2007 the FAO Interdepartmental Working Group on Training,
the Education for Rural People Coordination unit and
the Network on Agricultural and Rural Training (FAR)
organized a workshop to present the state of art of the Sub Saharan Africa training
for the rural sector.
During the workshop
the objectives, outputs and programmes of
the network on Agricultural and Rural Training
(Réseau International Formation Agricole et Rural, FAR) were presented as well as the research and policy of ERP partnership.
The French conceptual contribution was also illustrated.
The workshop's aim was to create synergies among FAR, ERP and the IDWGTT and
to discuss possible future collaboration.
