The Maisons familiales rurales (MFR) organized a seminar on vocational training for rural youth in the world in the presence of French and foreign officials of the Maisons familiales rurales (MFR). During the seminar the responsibles in rural Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Colombia, Comoros, France, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Central African Republic, Senegal, Chad, Vietnam shared their experiences and discussed on the conditions necessary for the implementation of training programs for rural youth.
The seminar was held at the National Pedagogical MFR located at Chaingy near Orleans from 5 to 8 March.
The objective of the seminar was to give voice to a number of major players in the rural dynamic: unions, youth and popular education movements, institutions and analysts to assist MFR to make a diagnosis on the employability of rural youth and their training possibilities.
