Within the risk reduction programme in the European neighbourhood, the EuFMD has established Groups for Vaccination Advice, Guidance, and Consultation (GVA), comprised of national experts in vaccinology, including immunology, vaccine manufacturing, and vaccination strategies to assist countries of North Africa, Near East and South-East Europe in enhancing their vaccination programmes. The GVAs specifically aim at assisting vaccine quality assessment, evaluation of vaccination programme effectiveness, and design and implement post-vaccination monitoring activities while serving as a platform for sharing expertise on vaccination for FAST diseases.

This meeting seeks to bring together the GVA experts and private sector representatives to foster collaboration and identify solutions to improve vaccine availability and efficacy in the respective regions.
