The regional workshop, co-organized by the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (REU) and the Subregional Office for Central Asia (SEC), focused on the impact of climate change on sustainable forest management as well as possible mitigation and adaptation measures within forestry and cross-cutting sectors. The workshop brought together experts from European and Central Asian countries.
The objective of the regional workshop was to highlight the impact of climate change on sustainable forest management and possible mitigation and adaptation measures, as well as to identify possible areas for projects under the GEF 6 replenishment period.
