Regional awareness rising workshop on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in Eastern Europe

The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations Regional Office of for Europe and Central Asia (FAO REU) in cooperation with the Szent István University Gödöllő, Hungary is organizing the “Regional awareness rising workshop on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in Eastern Europe” 3-5 September 2013, Gödöllő, Hungary.
The aim of the workshop is to discuss the Integrated Pest Management concept, to promote regional cooperation in sustainable agricultural production and to identify the gaps in the mentioned fields in each country. IPM is considered as one sustainable approach for crop production and protection and as such is being mainstreamed in FAO activities.
