The main objective of the workshop is equipping the professional staff with technical information on the use of risk assessment at national and international levels.  Ministry staff was also informed about Codex Alimentarius Commission and European Union perspectives. Trainers of the workshop were Rob Theelen, from Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority, and Eleonora Dupouy, Food Safety and Consumer Protection Officer of FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.
