Budapest, Hungary, 26/01/2012 - 27/01/2012
The Regional Office for European and Central Asia (REU) together with the Subregional Office for Central and Eastern Europe (SEU) and the Subregional Office for Central Asia (SEC) organized successful informal consultation meetings in March 2010 in Budapest, in October 2010 in Almaty for Central Asia and in March 2011 in Budapest. The meetings increased the dialogue with the member countries on priority issues for the region as well as programme and budget matters. At the 27th European Regional Conference (ERC) the member countries welcomed this approach. The report from the ERC highlighted that results from informal consultation should be considered in the documents prepared by the secretariat for the ERC.
