The FAO Subregional Office for Central and Eastern Europe together with the Croatian Centre for Agriculture, Food and Farmers’ Community, Institute for Seeds and Seedlings are going to organize a regional consultation and workshop for four countries (Albania, Armenia, Georgia and Moldova) on seed production.
The purpose of the workshop is to assist the participating countries in the improvement and development of functional and sustainable seed delivery system to meet both basic national requirements for food security and minimum international standards. Good practices of the already existing institution in Croatia will also be presented to the participants, who are expected to be representatives of both public and private sectors.
