EPPO/FAO workshop
This workshop dealt with capacity building of the representatives of national plant protection organizations and national agencies responsible for forest protection of 9 countries for the Implementation of International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) of FAO and EPPO. The training covered mostly the topics related to the FAO "Guide to implementation of phytosanitary standards in forestry" and related regional EPPO standards. The goal of the workshop was to assist National Plant Protection Organizations and responsible agencies for forestry in interpretation and implementation of ISPMs and regional standards of EPPO for phytosanitary regulations of international trade of forest plants and forest plant products.
