TransCaucasus Technical workshop on FMD surveillance and control
Ankara, Turkey, 19/01/2015 - 21/01/2015
The workshop focusing on surveillance and control of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) was held in Ankara, Turkey from 19to 21st January, 2015.
Objectives of the workshops were:
- Assess current national and regional FMD surveillance, control and risks;
- Discuss a regional project proposal of Federal Centre for Animal Health (FGBI “ARRIAH”), Russian Federation;
- Review national and regional Progressive Control Pathway (PCP) progress and identify needs and inputs for progress in the next 5 years;
- Identify needs and mechanisms for regional cooperation on FMD surveillance and control.
