Imroving Policy, Institutions, Legislation and Practices for Sustainable Use and Conservation of Wildlife Resources

The workshop has been organized to promote an exchange of information and experience in the field of wildlife management and conservation. The event aimed to provide a forum for discussion on current wildlife policies, institutions, legislation, governance and trade, available wildlife resources and the potential for their valorisation, as well as challenges related to poaching and the trade in illegally-sourced wildlife products in the participating countries.
Participants from Central Asia and the Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan), as well as selected international institutions, have been invited to attend the workshop.
