Certification, traceability and market demands

The workshop provided an overview of the existing types of certification schemes (BRC, IFS, ISO 9000, ISO 22000, MSC) within fishery and aquaculture sectors, and provided information on specific market demands in order to be able to export to the EU. EUROFISH organised the workshop in cooperation with the Georgian Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Recourses and FAO SEUR. Participants were representatives from the fisheries sector of Georgia, the public sector and others who had an interest in this subject.
