Joint WHO/FAO Intersectoral Workshop on Food Safety and One Health Approach

A joint workshop will be held in Ankara with the objective of monitoring and evaluating foodborne diseases in Turkey and enhancing national and international collaboration in food safety sector.
Along with experts from FAO, World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and Europe and Food Safety Authority (EFSA), officials from the Turkish Ministry of Health, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and Hacettepe University Public Health Institute will attend. The aim of the technical workshop is to highlight the important role that all stakeholders have in ensuring food safety.
