Two back to back workshops will be organized in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan under the same project “TCP/SEC/3403: Strengthening the capacities of national phytosanitary control services in Central Asia”.  

The regional training workshop will be held in Bishkek between 16 and 19 November 2015 with the aim of improving capacity of national plant quarantine laboratories. Participants who are involved in the management of plant quarantine laboratories will attend the workshop from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Following the training workshop, the project will be completed with a final meeting that will be conducted on 20-21 November 2015. The workshop will provide a platform to discuss results and outputs of the project as well as further steps to be taken in order to strengthen the capacity of national phytosanitary services in the region.
