The opening ceremony and the inception workshop of the project “Agricultural Implication for Ecosystem Based Adaptation (EBA) to Climate Change in Steppe Ecosystems” will take place in Ankara, Turkey. Co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Turkey, the project aims to restore healthy ecosystems in Anatolian steppes and raise levels of knowledge among government institutions in Turkey. 

Following the keynote speeches, technical section of the inception workshop will focus on the overview of the project, expected outcomes, country experiences related to climate change adaptation and future steps for implementation.

This project is co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Turkey.The project is implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock is the Beneficiary of the project. The Central Finance and Contracts Unit is the Contracting Authority of the project.
