The Congress is organized by the Association of Milk Producers of Serbia, within the project “Public-private policy dialogue in dairy sector in Serbia”, conducted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Topics of Congress, among others, are: how to improve the competitiveness and quality of milk through the cooperation of producers, processors, retail systems and with adequate support of state institutions; the Law on Incentives in Agriculture and Rural Development with necessary change of the model of supporting milk production, the application of the Law on State Agricultural Land, etc.

Dairy Congress will bring together industrial experts and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection, UN FAO, EBRD, as well as a large number of representatives of producers and processors of milk and other participants of this strategic sector of Serbian agriculture.
