Technical workshop dedicated to the World Food Safety Day 2026

This technical workshop is organized to mark World Food Safety Day 2026, celebrated annually on 7 June by FAO and WHO to raise awareness and promote action on food safety risks. Held jointly with the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, the event will bring together representatives from government, academia, and the food industry to exchange knowledge and strengthen food safety systems in Kyrgyzstan. Discussions will focus on the national legal framework, risk-based food control, and practical implementation of international standards such as HACCP and traceability.The workshop will also feature expert presentations, case studies from food producers, and interactive discussions, providing a platform for dialogue and collaboration to improve food safety policies and practices — from farm to fork.
