Strategic Evaluation: Joint Evaluation of Renewed Efforts Against Child Hunger and under-nutrition (REACH) 2011-2015.

This document summarizes the evaluation of the United Nations Renewed Efforts Against Child Hunger and Undernutrition (REACH) initiative, which supports participating countries in strengthening the governance and management of nutrition programmes. Partners include WFP, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF); the International Fund for Agricultural Development has an advisory role.

Final Evaluation of Agriculture and Food Information Systems for Decision Support in South Sudan

Evaluation of FAO’s Contribution in Trinidad and Tobago

This evaluation reviewed FAO’s investments, technical assistance and collaboration in Trinidad and Tobago from 2010 to 2015. It found that FAO has played a key role in supporting the development of policies and guidelines on forestry, nutrition and natural resource management, which has helped re-establish support by donors and partners who had earlier stopped supporting the country because of a lack of policies. Evaluation of FAO’s contribution in Lao People’s Democratic Republic

This evaluation examined FAO’s contribution in Lao People’s Democratic Republic from 2009 to 2014. It found that FAO has delivered relevant support for agricultural policy development in the Lao and achieved significant results in capacity building of government partners. It recommends that FAO strengthen its policy support in Lao PDR by putting greater emphasis on strengthening analysis, implementation and enforcement of these policies. This evaluation assessed the relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of FAO’s knowledge products and services, including quality assurance and dissemination processes.
