Diversity index of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Colombian Andean transect
There are some biotic and abiotic factors that can positively or negatively affect the structure and diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities, such as interaction with other soil microorganisms and agricultural practices including logging, burning, fertilisation and tillage. Also the population of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi could be indirectly modulated by aspects of microclimate, topography and plant species.
