This insights brief is produced under the UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) programme. UK PACT works in partnership with countries with high emissions reduction potential to support them in implementing and increasing their ambitions for tackling climate change. Kenya was recognised as having such potential and presented a valuable opportunity to strengthen forest and landscape restoration (FLR) policy implementation at the community, county and national levels.
