Chad, a vast and diverse country in Central Africa, faces the compounded pressures of poverty, food insecurity, climate shocks, and a growing refugee influx from neighbouring Sudan. Against this backdrop, effective communication is central to building resilience and supporting local adaptation—this factsheet examines Chad’s media and telecommunications landscape to inform inclusive, context-aware strategies that strengthen FAO’s emergency and resilience efforts across the country.
