Rural Women in Peru Seed Water Today to Harvest It Tomorrow
In Huasao, near Cuzco, Peru, small-scale farmer Kely Quispe recalls a time when water was abundant. Today, due to increasing droughts, her community faces growing water shortages. The initiative supports Quechua-speaking rural communities in the Andean region through feminist, nature-based solutions to restore water sources and improve sustainable water use.
