Different Faces, One Story: Championing Food Safety in Rural Georgia
Through the support of the European Union and Sweden, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), under ENPARD IV, supports smallholder women dairy farmers in Georgia with knowledge and matching grants to improve food safety of their products. Thousands of them have taken part in FAO Farmer Field Schools to gain insights into animal health, safe production, and good veterinary practices, among other topics.
