Digital Dilemmas: Who Controls Agtech?
From AI-powered livestock monitoring to automated robotic weeders, digitalisation is increasingly shaping food systems. But as these solutions remain largely corporate-driven and narrowly techno-centric, do they align with agroecology? In this panel, we’ll unpack the conditions whether digitalisation supports just, resilient food systems and where guardrails may need to be set. We’ll explore how to reframe ongoing debates, reclaim tech sovereignty and discuss how the food movement might reorient dominant solution pathways.
