In the National Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, the agrienvironment measure (Measure 10) deals with both agri-environment and climate aspects. This article aims to show how the areas protected under this measure contribute to adaptation to climate change and reducing the effects on the environment and on agriculture. Mitigation means limiting climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and by valorising ways of storing carbon.
