URGENCI warmly welcomes you to join our e-learning course on Community Supported Fisheries!

We are pleased to announce that our first e-learning course on Community Supported Fisheries will take place from Monday 16 May through Friday 3 June!

This e-learning course is a part of the Erasmus+ funded project Deck to Dish: Advanced Training in Community Supported Fisheries. We are proud to be working with our partners, Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance (NAMA), The Transnational Institute (TNI), and Association Pleine Mer. Further e-learning courses are under development and will be announced in the future.

This course explores the concept of community supported fishing and small-scale fishing, both in North America and in France. Course participants will learn how community supported fisheries share values with CSA, the process of integrating locally sourced, sustainably caught fish into CSA baskets, how to build meaningful relationships with fishers, and how to filet and cook different varieties of fish.
